Comfort first

The MG B model was born in the early 1960s, replacing the A model, which had achieved considerable success on the sporting scene.

But time was passing, and there was a need for more comfort. The project was very ambitious: it featured a unibody construction, capable of improving interior roominess. The seats were comfortable armchairs, the windows were roll-down and the soft top provided excellent sealing.

In short, the MG B represented a pivotal moment in the history of English motoring, because it helped take a great step forward in the concept of the spider, which until then had retained a somewhat wild character.

The MG B was produced until 1980, with a total of approximately half a million units. Not bad at all!
